Nina is a very humble person, I met her in a Hare Krishna temple, I was talking with her, it was in Berlin, Kochstrasse in 1986 or 1987. Since I knew her from her first songs back in East Germany over becoming a Punk diva and then again becoming a very devotional person, I was really astonished. She joined us in the Kirtan, took prasadam and then went again. I could never have thought that she is such a simple and humble person. I have high respect for her and we both share the history of former GDR people. She is socially very active and cannot stand unfairness, always helping others and speaking out the truth. If you are not from her generation it might be not easy to understand the punk area, but in fact all of us where in a kind of fever and wanted to find our own ways, esp. in GDR where there was so much repression, which kindled more power in us to break out of the government set rules and the greyness of GDR.
