I'm 14, and REALLY...some people of my fucking generation GOT to be listening to this, and NIN in general, instead of 1 Direction, Justin Bieber, or whatever is mainstream right now...i don't give a shit. Oh god...trent, i just fucking love you

When I first heard Downward Spiral in 1994, I was about 17 and let me tell you it always creeped me out too, and to this day I can't listen to more than 20% of the album. He was in a deep dark mood in those days and on drugs as he calls it so yeah and I'm sure factored with recording in the house where the Tate murder happened there is something hypnotic happening somewhere in those vibes. It's a very real album a dark collage of art mixed with the end of a mans soul, quite the story.

I just like How.. Trent just tells the guys What to Do, you know? never being In a band myself, i can only Assume that there's So much crap to deal with (Drugs, relationships, etc.) and Just how Trent lets the guys Know what to do is Just Great. However, i'm sure if this was a band that consisted of More then just Trent and his visions, ideas, etc., things would of been different. (No offense to the other band mates, Just glad it didn't work out like That. NIN wouldn't of existed.)
