It's true that Marco sings much better than Ozzy (who was never much of a singer IMO), but as much as I love Nightwish, Emppu is NOT better than Randy. Not even close. While Emppu has some nice solos/melodies, he mostly plays rhythm, and Randy, well... was one of the best guitar players of the 80s. A legend. Although Emppu fits his role in NW perfectly, he has to do a lot more to get to Randy's level. Just my opinion though.

It's because Marco is far superior singer comparing to Ozzy, plus Emppu is way better guitarist than Randy was. Original solo is better, but listen to Emppu's squeals during the rest of the song, rhythm section... listen to that guitar tone only (yeah, Emppu's tuning is different, so what?). Original is excellent, no doubt, but this one is a little bit better.
