Night Beats - Hex (Official Video) HD video free download

'Hex' is the first track from the 'Night Beats' side of their joint 'Split' record with fellow psychedelic garage rock band 'The UFO Club'. The 'Split' was recorded at 'Laguna Studios' in Austin, Texas and was first released in 2011 through 'The Reverberation Appreciation Society' as a limited edition 10" vinyl record. However, due to its success and popular demand it has since been repressed and re-released in 2013.

The 'Night Beats' are an American Psychedelic, Garage and Soul group based out of Seattle, Washington. The group consists of Lee Blackwell (Lead Guitar, Vocals), James Traeger (Drums) and Tarek Wegner (Bass). Night Beats incorporate sounds of early R&B, Texas Psychedelic Rock, UK Blues, Folk and Soul.

'Danny Lee Blackwell' originally from Dallas, Texas founded the 'Night Beats' in 2009 when 'James Traeger' moved from Austin, Texas to Seattle, Washington. Named in honour to Sam Cooke's Magnum Opus the then 2-piece picked up 'Tarek Wegner' who was living in Seattle. The 'Night Beats' toured extensively early on completing multiple North American tours during 2010 and were signed within weeks after self releasing their debut EP 'H-Bomb' by Chicago's 'Trouble in Mind Records' who in June 2011 released the band's self titled debut LP.

The 'Night Beats' have toured with groups such as 'The Black Angels', 13th Floor Elevators legend 'Roky Erickson', 'The Jesus and Mary Chain', 'The Strange Boys', 'Black Lips' and 'The Growlers'.

The Reverberation Appreciation Society recently announced the release date for the 'Night Beats' second full length album titled 'Sonic Bloom', which is still set for the 24th Sept 2013.
