Good version but I have to say, Graham Bonnet of The Marbles, 1968 is my favorite! He knocks it further out of the park!

I bought this album as soon as it came out in 1974 as Nigel had always been my favourite. If I remember rightly by the time this album came out Nigel and Dee had already left EJ and Nigel had been replace by Roger Pope (never liked him). I didn't realise at the time but did as soon as I bought EJ's next album Rock of the Westies, as soon as I played it I knew Nigel was missing he had a style of his own and IMO Roger was no substitute for his brilliance. I recognised his drumming whenever I heard it like on Leo Sayer's Endless Flight I knew immediately it was Nigel drumming. I think the first single released from the album was Something Lacking in Me. Thanks for Only Once Woman I have been able to find a copy and I'm afreaid by old B&O gave up the ghost years ago and I've been unable to play it.

I'm surprise to discover this song. I already find "Don't Forget To Remember Me, a Bee Gees song" performed by the Legendary Sir Elton John on Youtube. Great thanks to upload those songs

I remember buying this album in 7th grade because I was such a huge Elton John fan, I wanted anything related to his music (Plus Nigel was my favorite member of his band). I remember this song being the won on the album that stood out to me.

I have always loved this song and thank you for posting. I also enjoyed the video. I have a brother in the music business who had the opportunity to meet Nigel, Gus, and even Elton a few years ago. My brother was taken with how nice a guy Nigel was. Loved the Elton and Bernie era, and the great team that surrounded him.

It’s also noteworthy that the Swedish rock band ‘Alien’ is best known today just for their cover of this song in 1988, which reached #1 in Sweden and remained there for six weeks.

@barneypip This song is one of the six songs that the prolific Bee Gees wrote for The Marbles, and was their 'only one... ' major hit: it reached no.5 in the UK Singles Chart, Nov 68. (Their 2nd single "The Walls Fell Down" -also by the Bee Gees- only reached Number 28 in the same chart). In 2006, Declan Galbraith did the best cover of this song.
