From 1960. Of all the versions of this song, I like this one the best.

The biggest hit version (#16) of this song came from Gary Miles in 1960. Gary also recorded as Buzz Cason. Billy Vaughn had the biggest instrumental version at #19. The original version, from the movie "Circus Of Horrors", was recorded by British singer Garry Mills. It reached #26 on the chart in 1960. The other chart version was by Los Angeles born Deane Hawley. It made it to #29 on The Billboard Hot 100. This Nicky Como recording made it to #110 for one week. But didn't make the hot 100.

@rjsmth Yeah, I think it's "the bomb" also. This was the popular version where I grew up, so maybe that's why I like it the best. Thanks for the comment.

Never new there were words to go with this lovely tune. I have the instrumental by Billy Vaughn which is good, but this vocal by Nicky Como is the bomb. Thanks for posting.....

Hi: I really enjoyed your uncle's version. He has a pleasant voice. There are two other singers that I have heard sing this song. I like your uncle's a tad more. I sorry to hear about his manager not getting Nicky the rights to song for the movie. A few questions: Are there any other songs sung by Nicky? Is Nicky still alive? What was the flip side of his record?

Thanks for the post. Nicky was my uncle and this was the best version but he got sold out by his manager when they featured this song in the movie circus of horrors using gary mills. Great memories.
