First song I ever heard by Nick in 1970, died too young almost unheard by the public. Great that he is now appreciated by a large following

I love hearing (what sounds like) Nick putting his guitar down and flipping the recording off. That's beyond cool! :) I wonder what he would think of all of us fans digging around, trying to find everything that he ever recorded, from these home recordings down to outtakes. His music is so magical that we are all desperate to hear every single note of it that can be scrounged up. It's weird how (when you discover his music) you want to tell the world, but then again, you know the world doesn't deserve anything THIS GOOD.

God, I wish they would release official unplugged recordings of all his songs. *This* is the superior version.

As a guitarist for 25 years now, I can honestly say that the timing on the guitar here is genius. To think that he was barely of drinking age when he did it is amazing. I know his story is a sad one - but he achieved an certain immortality. Not sure if thats any consolation to Nick.

I first heard Nick twenty years ago and felt a loss already that I had already missed so much.

Damn I'm embarrassed to even play guitar. I might have to smash my guitar and burn it.

You don't 'replace' a phenomenon like Nick Drake - you just hang on to what's left, and experience it...

This song is deeply interwoven into the frail tapestry of my mind.It is far stronger than my Citlopram.

Who needs production? This is amazing as it stands. Thanks for posting this. Sorry if I'm late to the party.

his songs stands alone!!! they're not "saved" by arrangements (as some critics says in the past). Bryter Layter will be always a masterpiece, orchestra or not

Does anyone else feel that this song is quintessentially mysterious and fleeting, never staying long enough to be able to find it's heart. It is oh so very deep yet light and flows with a babbling bounce. It is as if it washes you of the mundane and brings you into a state of thought and intense emotion which coupled with qualities described earlier makes the song hard to fully digest and understand. This I feel is found In a lot of Nicks songs but more so in this particular one.
