As much as I love Nick and this cover I love even more the story behind this video where Mute gave him money to produce the video and he squandered most of it on drugs and what was left of it was made to produce this video. I guess sometimes less is more as the minimalism of the production reflected the theme and feeling of the song. However I think what Mute learned from this was to give someone else money to produce Nick's music videos :D
