I think you guys are pretty close I've seen these movies as a kid and as an adult both times it was different once wanting a world like theirs and than seeing the pain of a boy who only wants love from a family this scene is to be fair, a guilt trip brought on by Harry when Ron and Harry fight and Ron leaves. it makes Harry feel more alone and if you look at his face be for the dance he realizes he has make things right and try's to cheer up harminie with a dance and the final look was meant to be an apology but it didn't help but make things worse for her with more guilt

This scene always gives me goosebumps. I don't know why, but it was very real to me, and this song just makes it more deep. Harry Potter is my childhood, and I've grown up with it. This song just goes perfectly with this scene, how they are growing up and aren't children anymore. They were kind of forced into adulthood, and they didn't have normal childhoods. The ending especially is so powerful.

But when I hear this song I can only relate it to growing up and trying to handle being independent, saying good bye to childhood, and fighting not to be judged in a way you're subjected to when you're no longer a kid.
