Here's the second song from Nic's surprise solo set, accompanied by his son Joe, as part of the In Search Of Nic Jones concert at London's Southbank.

The concert was originally conceived for and performed at Sidmouth FolkWeek in 2010. Nic sang with his old group Bandoggs at that concert, but saved this solo surprise for the London show, which was staged as part of Stewart Lee's Austerity Binge.

Nic Jones music is not really known in California. I don't know if he ever toured here or not but I don't recall hearing his name at any of the folk venues I used to go to years ago. I think his music is just incredible though & son Joe is doing such a great job playng & singing with his dad. I'm trying to find out how many of his albums there are (including out- of-print albums),solo and with other artists. Have majority of LPs been released on CDs or are there some albums only on LP? and why?
