I'll tell ya, I am so glad I grew up during this time of hip-hop. I completely discovered this by random airplay (a few on pop, mostly stumbled on the "urban" stations in Philly) and fell in love with this genre Rappers Delight, Planet Rock, Jam On It, UTFO. But when I heard "You Talk Too Much" by RUN-DMC, that is when I became completely hooked - being a 11-12 year old suburban white kid blasting a smaller sized Panasonic boom box around the neighborhood (No, never owned one of those massive ones, the JVC types that took 12-16 D batteries.), yeah I was laughed at..especially in high school. My mom accepted what I liked, my dad f'ing HATED it. I didn't care. Damn, I miss these days. Today's hiphop artists, 98% of them really should learn from this time. Honestly Im sad to say I personally can't see any talent from many of these todays artists. Only like a handful..that actually may be a stretch. Damn shame too.

Still, if there's one good thing to plop out of the 2000's it's YouTube. It's basically a time capsuel of over flowing nostalgia haha. But the terrible auto tune overly seriour music, boring fashion, shitty horror movies, flash animated/CGI'd forgettable mindless cartoons,, the life sucking minamalistic drab and unimaginitive boring commercials, focus on Simple design and peoples attitude in general....well SUCKS.

Long live the 80's, best decade ever for so many wonderful reasons. The 2000's? An absolute disgrace to humanity. XP

This is what happens when rap groups play their own instruments instead of sampling someone else's work. Damn good song!
