Buddy is excellent. First time I saw a video with him playing with NRPS (heard a lot, though). I'm sorta partial to the late Red Rhodes, who worked a lot with Mike Nesmith and the First National Band. Hit up "Calico Girlfriend" here on YT. He was solid as well.10 years ago

I saw them on the "Powerglide" tour with this song on it, and ended up backstage, then on the stage, sitting behind Buddy Cage on the pedal steel guitar, at F&M College, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Dave Torbert (Bass and lead vocals on this song) along with Spencer Dryden (former drummer with Jefferson Airplane) were still alive and kickin.' I'm missing Marmaduke (John Dawson) too...11 years ago
