oh man. when i was stationed in germany as an infantryman, on an armored personel carrier or apc, in cold pitch black dark nights through the black forest. only the drivers and track leaders had night vision goggles. standing, pulling guard only the roar and metal of the convoy. i hid a walkman and headphones in my cargo pocket. in a cassette i would hear this. im a bit deaf now from my left ear... great feelings at the time.

I respectfully disagree. New Order will never escape Ian's shadow, and that's kind of unfortunate, but the truth is that Joy Division's work is too great to be shoved aside by New Order's brilliant catalog. That is why their legacy is one - the work on both sides is too great not to coexist.
