this version is vastly superior to the original version, which was too subdued imo

Hugely underrated single that epitomizes their talent and the great vocals of Bernard Sumner.

when talking does no good and doing is always misinterpreted, you can't believe me when i show you what you cannot see, concrete individuals who think they think abstractly. fear of objective permanence.

Marc guevara its so sad. Not saying you're "a stupid or a sucker", (ftr:we're all suckers) but New Order was knowned as Joy Division before Ian's passing, who was the lead vocals and played the guitar. Out of respect to him and the fans they've garnered from then they decided to change the name in the early eighties. In 1976 i believe when they were knowned as Joy division, they, were to pioneer to different styles of punk with "Love will tear us apart" and "Disorder". Joy Division was fuel for the punk evolution

Yours is just as irrelevant. Nobody cares what race are any of these guys are. Just like you did not care of the origins of this type of music. The real point is, they were good. Just enjoy it and stop bring up racial matters. Music is music no matter where the hell it's from or who made it.

did i mention anything about the originators of electronic music? no, i said this specific sound was done by people of color before new order did it, but they dont get the fame new order did, most likely because they are not white. your comment is irrelevant

Actually the pioneers of electronic music as we know it are credited to Kraftwerk of Germany and Yellow Magic Orchestra of Japan.

what i hate is that latin and black artists have been doing this sound before new order does and no one notices and then new orders white asses do it and suddenly its groundbreaking. I love new order and this is a solid song but like this wasnt anything new when it came out, this wasn't "ahead of its time"

Theres one section which is an arpeggio breakdown and tha'ts what became the "blade " anthem.

That's doubtful, because New Order stopped working with Hannett after Movement, 6 years earlier.

While the Pump Panel mix is decent, and the original Baker treatment in '83 was phat on its own, my PERSONAL all-time favourite version is THIS one. Thanx for having this one up, BPD27! ^5
