Lyrics:

Dreams lie smashed again

They've pinned your back to the wall

Like faded pictures of what might have been

Fate is cruel when dreams, like candles, fade

Smashed again down into the gray

Despise for a world turned cold

No one sees what tomorrow knows

There's a shame in blind suffering

Dishonor from the inside

Find hope from the voice within

Clear vision of your own mind

Mistakes you wear like your skin

You wish you'd never been born

Stand up, you can't escape your past

But fools will try just to forget

From where they came

Smashed again down into the gray

Despise for a world grown cold

No one sees what tomorrow knows

No more color to will to fade

To see life clearly, regretful nevermore

Take the time, make the time

There's shame in false victory

Dishonor from the inside

False pride, all you can't redeem

Clear vision of your own mind

Nevermore What Tomorrow Knows Track #1 of the album Nevermore released February 14th 1995 through Century Media Records

Nevermore is the eponymous debut album by Seattle progressive metal band Nevermore. Released in 1995 under Century Media, it was singer Warrel Dane and bassist Jim Sheppard's first release after departing from their previous band, Sanctuary, in 1994. Having recruited drummer Van Williams and former Sanctuary touring guitarist Jeff Loomis, they formed the band Nevermore and began anew.

This was Nevermore's first and only album to feature original drummer Mark Arrington. Despite not being credited as the drummer on the album, he did play on half of the tracks.

A music video was produced for the song "What Tomorrow Knows." It would also be the sole track from Nevermore to be featured on Manifesto of Nevermore, the band's 2009 greatest hits compilation.

That's not entirely unbelievable. Death Angel's drummer recorded their first album when he was just 15 also, nevermind when he joined the band. It's rare that someone that age joins a band, but it's not completely unheard of. Although if you've got source credentials then I guess you're right anyways.

If that were the case, he would have been 15 years old when Sanctuary formed. He's actually 51 now.
