Warrel was amazing, and the clean vocals are one of the best and most refreshing parts of nevermore; they set them apart from all the melodeath bands...that, as well as the insane drumming, and of course, Jeff Loomis. That said I suppose some Behemoth-esque vocals wouldn't have gone amiss here and there.

I think that more aggressive vocals (harsh vocals or gritty clean vocals) would fit this band better. The vocalist is obviously talented though.
