It's the rarest Gibson electric they have ever made. It's called the "Gibson Moderne." The only other guitar player I think who has one is the ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons.

It's a version of the Korina Gibson Moderne. It was never really made in the 50's but was designed the same time as the Flying V and Explorer in 1957.

You know, it's funny; Tom really did take on a bit of a different role when he returned to the band. If you watch the early CT stuff, he's quite out in front. Even doing a lot of the speaking. His bass playing changed as well. It's as if his personality , his playing, and perhaps even his sound took on a more... I don't know... tentative feel. Anyone get what I'm saying?
