The video for "Van Halen" was added to regular rotation on MTV and was seen by anyone who was watching the channel at 3 in the morning. M2 played the hell out of the song. And the rest is history."

You're right: it's not funny. But it brings you back to those carefree days when you're a kid and you're so enthralled by the Van Halen sound. Eddie's guitar tapping technique, David's incredible stage charisma and whiskey-soaked vocals, Anthony and Alex's incredible driving beat, and Ted Templeman's always-stellar production - I'm with Parry on this one.
