Having just recently discovered Niko's music, I have to wonder why I didn't previously know of it. I can say that as a transgender woman of "tomboyish" leanings I was very happy to hear her new song, "man". To me this song says, fuck you, I am a man, I am strong and I stand for myself, I am not my gender, or my genitals! I may be wrong but I when I saw the beautiful painting of her as a cowboy with the smoking horse I felt a little more justified in my interpretation. If man is what we call our kind than I am mankind!
