So much beautiful music...so little time. It's a real shame, but none of the tunes or singers I've heard today have ever been heard on my local radio. Everything that's heard comes off a playlist that originates elsewhere. FM radio in Cleveland used to break great acts...now you never hear them. This is just my introduction to Neko Case. I'll be looking for more.

Besides the howling of the wind, it's pretty quiet outside, mostly cloudy. The house is seriously quiet as well. I'm up taking a bath. Trying to decide if I want to make breakfast or go out for it. Guess it'll depend on how I feel when I get out of the tub....might just climb back in bed and starve, lol.Bought some lavender Epsom salt at Walgreens a few months back because I absolutely looooove the smell of it and it had the isles smelling so great I couldn't resist it. I wasn't sorry. I've been using it ever since. I was in Walgreens again a few days ago and saw that just the lavender Epsom salt was on sale, buy one get one half off. I felt sorry for its value being reduced. Like maybe people weren't buying it because they didn't know how fantastic it was. I hated those people...momentarily, then I was like, "holy shit! it's buy one get one half off!" Now I have a shelf in my linen closet full of lavender Epsom salt. And every time I even come *near* that closet, much less open it, I get hit with the bestest smell in the whoooole wiiiiiiiide worrrrrrld! **big smile. splashes water**. Teeheeeeeee!Ha, I was just thinking, if I did my superhero name right now, I'd be The Naked Window {or rather The Nude Window, since "naked" isn't really a color}. Which I don't mind because I think it sounds rather poetic. The Chocolate Bed, on the other hand, while sounding absofuckinlutely scrumptious, also sounded a little too large and in charge for my taste.Sweet Sunday morning to all ♥

Here in NE Florida there is a time of year that the Live Oaks drop acorns. If you have a tin roof like we do then the sound is not unlike a blackcat firecracker-quite startling. I always think of this song, halfway expect to find marbles all round the roof line.

I love how she sings about birds and nature... she is so swift with her lyrics and vocals, like shes swooping down from above to visit us with her talent and then leaves us again at the end of each song.
