I actually bookmarked this video months ago and every now and then when I want something to perk me up I'll view it and sit here and smile..... wishing sooooo much that I had learned guitar when I was a young lad almost 50 years ago. This is the first "School of Rock" video that I have viewed that sounds good (and I've seen many) Great video! You are truly rocking. Kudos to the female singer and the lead guitarist!!

I'll pass along your kind words. The Chicago School of Rock has a really exceptional group of students and teachers. Check out the video of Southern Man from the same concert - David Kula does an amazing guitar solo. And I love the vocals on Ohio. In the School of Rock, the kids are in a band right from the start - they learn by playing rock. I've got a video of Rocking in the Free World and none of the kids had pick up an instrument six months before.

If you ever get a chance, you should really see a show by your local School of Rock. There are 91 of them, and each one does a dozen or so shows a year, each one dedicated to a particular artist, genre, band or time period. I was knocked out by this show.
