Actually, that is Pegi, his wife, and his half-sister, Astrid adding to the backing vocals. Another readily available example of Astrid's fine contribution to the vibe is found on the album 'Unplugged -Neil Young' from 1993. Then she worked along side the infamous Nicolette Larson (American Stars & Bars; Comes a Time; Harvest Moon and so much more). From the very first listen of the tone that He uses for these songs I was hooked - great, great sound. Old Black is his best friend.

Great song - great lyrics... this song speaks to everyone Is there anyone who wouldn't have done things differently if they had known better ? We all learn the hard way...and if we really care we'll do all we can to put it right .. There's just one thing that gets me .. why do so many people find it so hard to show their heart and let the other person know what they really feel / or not feel. So much heartache is caused by dishonesty. It's like emotions were put on an undercover spy mission.
