They are going to have to do Farm Aid again, the corporate farms are killing not just the farmers but everyone on the planet.

I just remembered that the harmonium was given to me by my eldest brother when he went to Thailand to robe as a Buddhist monk in 1975. There are a lot of gentle people from those years and my brother and Neil Young are just two of them. p.s He is still a Buddhist monk and a wonderful person.

How strange ! I was just playing this on my guitar and i thought i'd listen instead. This is the version i picked to listen to and i couldn't believe it, the first time i ever played this myself was on a bellows harmonium exactly like the one in this video!! I played it on the harmonium because i thought the sound was perfect for this beautiful song. That was twenty years ago , how strange !!

Correct, rock isnt dead, and Neil,The Great and all Powerful Neil Percival Young, isnt a "rock star" he has risen and will stay elevated above such nonsense. What has passed on is the sheer brass nuts to write songs roundly trashed by so called experts/agents,"your voice is too reedy" "too focused on nature" record them and turn them into generational anthems. Sorry, but there is no friggin way a Lady Blah Blah tune is gonna make young and old alike, shiver and cry tears of joy 60 yrs from now.

I had just reached my teens when the Great Neil Young released Harvest. My god what an amazing litany of songs this master has penned, perhaps the absolute pinnacle of singer-songwriter capability and soul altering presentation. I was lucky enough to live near and in the Santa Cruz, Calif. area when he did a lot of, spur of he moment, el cheapo gigs for $5. in clubs around town. Holy crap I am one lucky guy, Thanks Neil, my life is better having lived it with your songs to hum.

what rock star doesn't look like a bum? Neil Young gets plenty of accolades today. Rock music isn't "dying out", it just isn't a dominant genre of music any more. It'll always exist. Today's alt/country is amazing, and many of those artists are the offspring of Neil Young.
