I take it you are being ironic! 12 Songs and Home Before Dark were terrific albums and easily the best work Diamond has produced since the Jazz Singer in 1980. It is true Diamond's studio creativity largely disappeared in the 80's and 90s due to poorly co-written songs and over-production but thanks to Rick Rubin he is back on track with his last two albums. Between 1966 and 1972 Neil Diamond was one of the best. Same thing goes for 2005-2007. 33 years in musical wilderness but Diamond is back!!

Are you sure!!? I bought Home before Dark, boy oh boy what a disappointment! Giving Mr Diamond a second chance I shelled out on 12 songs, more of the same! Great voice but the creativity has long gone. Shame but there you go, such is life.
