Wow. Surprised by all the controversy about Needtobreathe being a Christian band or not. I love THEIR response to this battle of semantics, however. "Why do we have to be a Christian Band...do you go to a Christian doctor?" Amazing. They are doing what they love and Jesus is shining through it all so effortlessly. I get goosebumps when I realize this music is reaching those who are down and out. Jesus uses all things for His glory. No Christian label? So BE it. Amen anyway.

Look, I understand being all things to all men, I am just getting a bit tired of believers with a platform going all luke warm and being more concerned about keeping everyone "Happy" than giving credit to whom it's due. Hey PP, sometimes softer-spoken words are easier for others to reach. There's a lot more to speaking the word than simply shouting in the faces of those who may simply be in need of someone or something they can relate to. They are reaching out more than you can personally comprehend. Your stale gloating is only achieving the opposite effect.

I dont know, Needtobreathe seems like it trying to please the world, and God. You cannot serve two masters, for you will either love one, and hate the other. Mathew 6:24 It just makes me sad, Needtobreathe has so much potential to be an awesome Christ Centered band. They may not be as popular, but then they could really start changing lives with their music.
