I understand your opinion, but do not agree with it. The battle IS the Lords, however do recall insults David hurled at Goliath (before the stone that killed him) & David was a man after God's own heart... also recall Jesus admonishments: "brood of vipers" etc... if we are to imitate Christ, it sometimes means confrontation. If you don't have the stomach for that, that is fine - I understand that, but know that God has wired some of us to fight the good fight in a more confrontational way.

I'm a christian as well, lastdaysguitar, and in my opinion you have a VERY misjudging way of understanding the christian values, God, the Holy Bible etc. Jesus was focused on doing good things to people and he didn't accept people talking badly about each other. You called blaflz an idiot. That isn't the most terrible thing to say to a person, but as a christian you should think twice before you call somebody an idiot. @unklejman Have U forgotton (did you ever know) how God loved Jacob, but HATED Esau (who gave up his inheretance)? How God called David a "man after Gods own heart"? The same David that put a stone into Goliaths head after Goliath mocked the living God? God has NO tolerance for being mocked. Scripture tells us: blaspheming the Holy Spirit will NOT be forgiven in this life, or the next - they must be warned! Read a bible & live what it says: get back to me in a year or so.

Asking the disciples "how long must I suffer you?" was that one of those moments of encouragement? Scriptures say "my people perish for lack of wisdom"... you appear to be both completely scripturally illiterate, & to have emmasculated a fake god in your own image. @lastdaysguitar Yes, but he never spoke down to them. He talked about ignoring God and spoke about hell, but never towards any individual in a belittling way.

@unklejman Haven't you read the scriptures? Jesus rebuked unbelievers and spoke of the foolishness of ignoring God and spoke of hell more often than he did of heaven.
