I saw these guys in Mannheim Germany in 1978. Dan McCafferty was intense. That's a voice you never forget. Satan would run and hide if he heard Dan belting out Beggar's Day.

Dear Mrs. Cake, these rock musicians aren't Nazarenes, actually they're from somewhere in Scotland. The lead-singer apparently has a scratchy throat. Anyhow, they're very nice Christian young men, good husband candidates for the several young and single Cake ladies. Now to the real message, I'm going to be looking for that cute and cuddly lap Chihuahua tomorrow Tuesday. I'm really in the mood for a greasy Taco Bell worker to tap on my pickup truck again right now, saying: "just wanted to make sure you're okay". That mouth-piece on my dash apparently will not be used, because it appears we're going to earn this by doing it your way. It should get real ugly and ruby. Cakes are really the cardinal weight lost enemies. Hope to see the real you tomorrow, and hopefully not just your car. Nite, nite.No Taco Bell worker around at the present time so far.

haha, 79 was the first time I heard hair of the dog in its entirety, I was 17 at a friends house tripping on mushrooms and they had "Please Don't Judas Me" full blast in quadraphonic through 4 Bose 901's, I was on another planet.

Dan McAfferty sounds like he'd just as soon rip your throat out, but he's the nicest, most down-to-earth guy you will ever meet

I saw Nazareth at Wendler Arena in Saginaw Michigan in early 79, I think it was March and Dan Mcafferty had a cast on his leg and had to sit on a stool the whole show. Rocked anyway!
