This is too pitchy. Irene's is perfect plus Irene is so pretty. :))

I agree with not criticizing. When someone does someone else's song it cannot be like the other's version. It has to be unique. I would want it to be mine not me trying to be Irene Cara or whoever because I am not trying to outdo her or the original singer. Just doing it my way. I love the different take. I sang it in school in a lower key. Every version just brings the song alive more and it is a beautiful song and hope more see that and bring it to life more in the future with a little more sparkle and uniqueness..

I am 52 years old and was/am a HUGE fan of the original Fame and the original version of this song. I actually felt bad for this girl doing a remake as I felt the original is untouchable. Well, I needn't have worried. SHE SANG THE PHUCK OUTTA THIS SONG.

Very nice. One tiny criticism. When singing more pop type of music, try not to rely as much on vibrato, especially in the attack stage of the note/phrase, go to vibrato at the end of the sustain.

In my modest opinion, she's a brilliant singer. I wish we had singers like her in Argentina.

She is not better than Irene Cara. She is good and has a great voice but the original is better!!!
