I love Keane in fact they are one of my favorite bands, but this song for some reason, I like this version better. I personally think it's beautiful, It just fits how I think the song should have been.

Her voice doesn't fit for this song, she has a very powerful voice and this song acquires a soft and more gentle voice. I love her voice and songs, but this song just doesn't fit for her :)

I'm guessing that's the neutral genderless term for husband/wife/boyfriend/girlfriend then?

Agreed. If people want a hear a good cover of Somewhere, they should look up Blake Lewis. He was an American Idol runnerup and his performance was how I learned about this song.

I personally thing she sing it really good. Why everybody keep saying that she doesn't fit in this song? Damn it... She did it great!

Hi I'm Matsai

Natasha Bedingfield starts really great, but once it hits the chorus, the piano becomes far too loud for her voice, in terms both of intention and volume: the piano playing is just not adapted to her voice and covers it completely. The pianist didn't play for her it seems, but to stick to the original, he should listen to her more (I hope it's not herself playing lol). The sound mixing seems to have barely used any compression to make the whole thing even.

lh how?

I was a major fan of her music in my childhood. She's undeniably talented.

I like her singing it as well as keane...nothing is wrong with it and neither is better than the other. It just depends on which one you hear first.
