Napalm Death - Cursed To Crawl

A fragile peace that exists inside

A frame so shallow

So narrow-minded

An open wound

We run inside

A raging turmoil

Helplessness confides...

Cursed to crawl

For my pale and bleeding heart

Cursed to crawl

Pale and bleeding

Enter this sphere

Commonplace, borderline

Between my rage

Between our hate

Damn our mistakes

Fixation blinds

The pain of knowing

The truth beyond...

(repeat chorus x2)

Unprepared

A gruesome display

Perhaps a replay

Self-inflicted

Reduced to nothing

My piece of mind seduced

Unworthiness

The scars never heal...

(repeat chorus)

Love how people chime in with their "Oh they sound Nu-Metal" comments...You guys DO realize that this was influenced by 90's-era NYHC bands like Sick Of It All whom Napalm Death has toured with? "Oh it's so rappy"What rap? I hear nothing but 90's groove. Groove =/= Rap metal/Nu-Metal.

Rap parts are nice. Cool seeing Napalm Death take a more numetal approach.

i think its awesome that ND have the balls to tweak their style a liittle, its gives every album a fresh sound to it and makes it stand out, this song is not the best on diatribes but its pretty damn good

@ScrewLimbBizkit I keep listening to this song over and over and don't hear anything that sounds like rap. Only thing I hear are some indirect rhymes followed by a few rhymes. Nothing rap about it.

One of the more experimental songs that Napalm Death did. In my opinion, it's the best experimental song they did. By the way, is that Mitch Harris doing the spoken vocals (the "a fragile peace that exists inside" parts) Just curious.

@MetalMadeInBrazil - No one said this was grindcore ND. Either way it's a good song, enjoy!
