I bought Nancy's Capitol debut album, "Like in Love," the day it came out based just on the fabulous cover and the knowledge this was Capitol Records, which only signed premiere talent in the first place. The album was fabulous, just fabulous. And then came the next one and the next one and "Something Wonderful," which was more than wonderful and then she exploded with the Broadway and Hollywood albums and she belonged to the ages. Perenially pushed her music, evolved her style. Never lazy!
