Those are his and Slash's words...Im just telling you what ive seen them say..Myles has been asked twice to join VR, and he said no, both times, he agreed to pair up with Slash because he isnt on tour with him for 6 months to a year, which is what woule be required with VR. I understand the rest of the guys tour with Creed, but its not a long tour either, and as of right now, Mark Tremonti is out touring his solo disc, and Myles is out with Slash, they'll reconvene for AB in nov/december

Its actually not that complicated, Myles turned down the VR job, he doesnt want to commit to it full time since his major commitment is Alter Bridge, playing live dates with Slash is simple because the schedule is flexible enough that he can divide his time between Slash and AB..but cant divide his time between VR and AB because VR is a major project..The guys in VR like Myles, Matt Sorum is the reason Slash even heard about Myles Kenedy because Matt told Slash about myles since before VR formed

Not that I care too much about Velvet Revolver, but, I wonder what the hell is their excuse for taking 4 years to replace Weiland. And, why is Kennedy not the guy to do it? Could it be that the rest of VR don't share Slash's enthusiasm towards his skills?

I'm a huge slash fan and even bigger AB fan and for some reason Myles just doesn't sing his best when he is with slash. It may have somthing to do with the way they right their music together, or maybe his voice is still beat up from the 2year back to back touring with AB and Slash. On the other hand Axl "in his prime" was a better singer than myles, but i can't even stand the sight of the dickhead, because of his bitchy attitude!

Foe me Its more about Axl being a bitch to bandmates and fans. You wait twenty years for a new G n R record and its only ok. Chinese Democracy was pretty good but it didnt have balls. And Slash, Duff, Izzy,and Adler came out with music better than Chinese Democracy. Axl ruined G n R to me.

Axl cant even sing anymore and Myles doesnt do drugs and struggles to hit high notes because hes on tour more than hes not and actually tries at all of those shows compared to people who change stuff so theyre easier to sing
