Anika opened for Joan Armatrading in Wellington last night, was so brilliant!! i have always enjoyed this song since it came out and i admire Anika so much she is a great performer incredibly funny and sad all at the same time. Thanks for a good night

He was, indeed. I'm happy to have spent time with him and the other members of Horizon. I wish I could recall the woman's name that played in the band because she really was an exceptionally strong person that had a positive influence on me as a young woman of 21. But, back to Tia Moa - against the backdrop of the band, he just blew your mind. His dreads flying,he was a lion. A lion that fathered this beautiful and talented lioness.

Look closely. During the guitar solo you can see she is playing the cord of G in the exact opposite of how a right handed person would play it. So, yes, she does know she is playing it upside down. She is left handed. Lot of musicians play left handed and learn to play the strings in a kind of mirror image. It means they can play conventionally strung guitars without having to restring them.
