Mind-blowing, ground-breaking, earth-shaking, sky-rocketting riff.

@Polyfusia at least a few people knew of them i saw them tour a bit as an opener for The Pixies about the same time this performance was recorded ... maybe ayear earlier. i won't forget the show in a Nebraska (?) amusement park hall.

This sounds amazing. Love it. Ahead of their time for real.

I'm going to get the word out about this band, if it's the last thing I do. Bands like Sonic Youth and Dinosaur Jr. are enjoying new-found popularity and respect. My Dad Is Dead deserves a piece of that pie. Mark Edwards is a forgotten guitar genius.

Loved them when they (Mark) was in Cleveland. Really great lyrics. And very melodic.

Wow, so many years ahead of their time huh? When I first heard a MDID track on KEXP the other day I figured it was something brand new not 20 years old!

I rated this as 5 stars because, well, I'm playing bass in it. You can see me for about 5 seconds around the 2:50 mark..
