My Bloody Valentine recorded a cover of the James Bond 1969 soundtrack theme to On Her Majesty's Secret Service in 1993 after signing to Island Records. Written by John Barry with lyrics by Hal David, We Have All The Time In The World had not been rediscovered yet as the classic that it is now. Guinness soon followed putting the original Louis Armstrong recording from the movie in one of its most revolutionary TV adverts [the first not to feature a voiceover nor a character] EMI soon caught on the buzz and released it as a single which went to #1 in the UK charts for Christmas 1994. Sadly MBV haven't released any of their original music since then.
