Lyrics:

Here's a final straw to take a stride

In a right direction

I can hardly see the sky

Covering this lonely path

Nothing's built to last

I can almost say that I want you back

But I won't, no I won't, I won't

Sun, come on around

Tie yourself to me

Cavernous jewelry

I'm on your shoulder

Don't leave me sober

Gold coins, I want it

Yellow doubloons, I need it

A silo, I want it

Stuffed animals, I need it

Mama, I'm runnin'

Feeling so electric

Tell me something, tell me anything

Is there one thing that could mean everything

Yeah, Yeah

Find me something, find me anything

Is there one thing that could mean everything

Yeah, Yeah

Cannonball, I want it

Into the blue, I need it

Center row, I want it

The way you move, I need it

Tell me something, tell me anything

Is there one thing that could mean everything

Yeah, Yeah

Tell me something, tell me anything

You're the one thing that could mean everything

Yeah, Yeah

-But I had a good life, I really did

I wore a hat and smoked a pipe

Aw man I was number one on the hit parade-

Does anyone know if Greg Hill is still playing guitar! I have to say,I love MM(friends of mine from Monroe,LA 'Eyes Around' opened for em at my alma mater on Armistice) but I really miss the effects driven guitar with mood & ambience that's rare to find in guitarist! SO...if you're out there Mr. Hill...join our project of 'Never Ending Circles' & we'll fly the Soulcraft on this voyage to infinity!!!

When I first got the self-titled album, I couldn't take it out of the player. Then, when Armistice came out, I couldn't believe how amazing it was and actually ended up liking it better than the first. Odd Soul was quite a bit different and took a little bit of time to adjust to, but I ended up really liking it. The initial songs released off of Vitals were amazing, so I was excited for it. We saw a live show at a small venue ahead of the release and it was incredible. But, overall, I think there are too many so so / boring songs to live up to the first 3 albums. Now, Changes and Hit Parade. The posts below make it sound like this one is the greatest song ever, so I'm scared that I seem to be the only one that doesn't like either of these songs. I'm actually afraid to hear the new album, because I fear I'm not going to like it. Once that happens, I'll have to stop seeing the live shows because bands today play most songs off of the current album. MM is still hanging on as my favorite band, so that will be a sad day.
