Would this head work on a cr120c Orange 120 watt, 16 ohm combo amp if I unplug the combos speakers and run the this head through it?

For such a short video, they certainly spent a lot of time talking rather than demoing the amp.

In case your still deciding, I bought a Blackstar Ht-20 last christmas. It's an amazing amp, but it seems a little too "middy" for me. It does old rock like AC/DC, ZZ top and stuff of the like perfectly, but if you want to get any modern distortion tones, I havnt been able to dial mine in to get any tones like that. It's great for blues, cleans and older rock tones, but if you're looking for heavy metal tones, look elsewhere. Message me if you want to know more.

@TheRye07 Well the heaviest the H&K can get is a Van Halen esque tone. It does that AC/DC, clean, and everything in between. That Blackstar can do death metal if you want it to, knowing Blackstar. So it just depends what you want out of the amp.

All respect to Hughes & Kettner products. High quality. This is the stuff players like Alex Lifeson plays on. If i had the dough, i would get a Hughes & Kettner rig.
