hi! i know the origin of this song. jekyll & hyde was idea of frank wildhorn & steve cullen. they made a demo recording in 1987.Wildhorn's vision was the woman jekyll's bride had a dark side which is lucy,but he abandoned it later on saying it was too confusing for people to understand. linda sang both roles as lisa & lucy on the demo & the album of 1990's called Highlights from Jekyll & Hyde [Concept]. i hope this helps. Get that recording as soon as possible.

Thank you for just airing that scene with the song. Showing more scenes would have taken away from the emotion of the song and that scene said it all about the depth of love Vicky had for Ryan. They were the best supercouple to come along since Cruz and Eden.
