On the audience looking bored, This was set up for TV, look at how they were arranged BEHIND the band, they couldn't see what was happening on stage. I suspect because it was broadcast they were told to be quite by the Producer. I saw the Bothies live in 77 and the audience who were in front of the band were anything but quiet.

This is one of my favorite bands of all time. I found them in high school in the mid 80's and have had a richer life since because of them. Thank you to the band. Hope you pass your craft along.

kimlin, you didn't need to apologize, you said, all you need KNOW is a fiddler, not all you need NOW!! Bothy Band with Kevin had the edge Planxty with the bouzoukis/guitar had the fullness......... sometimes you need one or the other!! what if they'd all been together with Paddy Moloney!!
