Just received my new electric drum kit, the Yamaha DTXPress IV Special. It's brilliant! I've got it plugged into my Mac via a Presonus Firebox and it's triggering sounds in Toontrack Superior Drummer 2.0 software plug-in with Garageband '09 as the host. Movie was edited in iMovie '09, video captured using Panasonic LX3 in HD mode.

I'm using an alesis DM-6 drum set atm, I want an acoustic kit but i'm worried about how loud it will be. It's difficult finding a kit that I like, but this seems perfect to me! How much is it and is it worth buying over an acoustic kit within it's price range? Btw nice cover, been struggling with the triplet fill myself11 years ago
