I'm partly confused about this album, it's worth to dive into its new vibe but it's helpful to focus on the real sound it spreads as well because I can't understand which direction it really tries to take: dead inside remarks the main features of Uprising and Time is Running out in the intro as it highlights bass and drums (the typical elements of most records) but it also seems to run away from that electronic side they had been chasing for nearly 9 years (since they put out Black Holes) and this can reasonably be a hint of a jump to the first sound where that was more intimate, less aggressive and more original, it felt the inspiration of their heroes and Drones just grants you to refresh your mind and to afford the pleasure of the beginning again. That's the method of reinventing Muse and I believe they keep rediscovering their origins and nature from now on. Is it possible or am I crazy?
