Hmm. I guess this can be something read into a lot of songs, but this seems to be about one addict reaching out to another. Specifically it seems to be talking about the fact that it can consume your whole world, to the point where you don't even know your name. The song also seems to be saying "I know your shame, I know your pain, but I won't give up on you." Just my little interpretation.
