@choirman57 it's the Peel Regional Police Pipe Band. One of a handful of Grade 1 bands in North America. I accompanied the band to the Worlds in Glasgow in 2004 and am fortunate enough to have a copy (signed) of Paul with the Band from this concert.

Great song! Thanks Paul - I'm just wondering who the Pipe Band is? They are GREAT!

This was marketed badly in North America, the B side was marketed as the A side. Girl's School, I believe. Paul was unamused, IIRC. This is one of those songs that Douglas Adams said could buy McCartney a London neighbourhood, or something like that....lol

A non hit? Sadly, that only applies to here in the States. "Mull of Kintyre" was the first single ever to sell over 2 million copies in the UK alone and remains the 2nd biggest selling non-charity single ever in England ("Bohemian Rhapsody" is first, having charted twice in the 70's and again in the 90's). It was number one in Australia, Germany and Switzerland as well.
Brilliant song, great video. Thanks for sharing! I wish he would play it here in the US.

I was there. Boy am I glad I was there. This song gave me goosebumps when he played it. This video is doing the same. Do not forget this was the bigest selling single in England till Candle in the wind beat it when Diana died. So this was a real treat that I will never forget.
Thank you

I remember the whole crowd went nuts as the Toronto Regonal Police Pipe Band walked on the stage. What a thrill it must have been for them to play for Paul! He only performs this song when he plays in Canada. Sweet! What an amazing night!
