This video's lyrics have "shelters body from 'culprits' of reality". Various lyric sites have "from cold reigns of reality". I remember the lyrics to be "cold freeze of reality". If you think about it, when you're sheltering your body from any of these choices, cold freeze would make the most sense....especially since they came from Illinois.

"You've got to just trust me to hold your hand through, then I turn and walk away." FUUUUUCCCKKK! Hearing this song brings out thoughts of rage, self destruction, suicide.

Hard to believe Chad went from an album that was so lyrically deep and meaningful to Hellyeah's mindlessness. this band use to be one of a kind but i guess if they lingered on things that put them through the same personal anguish they wouldn't get over it. To me this album had the greatest description of how real suffering, despair, hopelessness feels which showed how much commitment they put into their music. Can't think of any other band that had/has the balls/talent to be so dark, heavy and real with their expressions of those feelings. It might just be I can relate a lot to the same thoughts/feelings but it will always be the most meaningful album to me, along with Flaws - Through the Eyes.

My absolute favorite Mudvayne song.

The song is about his folks. He was pissed off from the loss of his grandmother who had no support from either of them. Chad's explained that he was so much closer with her than his own mother for that she would rather do her drugs while he grew up, than look out for him. A lot of the songs from L.D. 50 are a spit into their faces. Cradle and Severed are prime ape examples of such. He severed his ties with them, if that makes sense. And he gave up a good job for this band, one that he no longer wanted.

I can understand why they hardly play this song live, that's alot of lyrics alot of high notes to reach, and then that part at 1:55 where he's constantly spitting out words and running out of breath mid way. I mean that's incredible for chad to do that live, plus I love that bass tapping part!

I think these lyrics are wrong. His last yell on the album I think is "I need you.. It's always been this way etc"
