I think Mudhoney are really one of the only bands who deserve to have their sound labelled as 'grungey' with those beautifully fat, filthy, fuzzy guitar sounds. I mean Kurt Cobain used a chorus pedal on Nevermind. Soundgarden? Awesome but not a dirty or grungey sound. Pearl Jam? Nothing remotely grungey about them.11 years ago
