You might enjoy 'Heatwave" more - it was the b-side to the This Is Pop 45. Arf.I picked up a copy of Take Away not long after it came out and it nestles nicely with my copy of Go+. Always enjoyed the 'cookey' Partridge output more than later period XTC and would push you in the direction of 'Powers' as a current favorite.

"The Day they Pulled the North Pole Down" is a dub experiment by Andy Partridge, based on the track "Heatwave" by Colin Moulding. It appeared on Andy's 1980 dub LP Take Away / The Lure of Salvage, later on the 1990 collection Explode Together: The Dub Experiments 78-80.
