This band's talent and creativity were under appreciated and underrated!! So, much overrated band these days.

You literally just repeated yourself, you have no evidence to back up your claims, you don't use any music jargon. The only thing new eddie van halen brought to the music industry was putting tapping into the mainstream music, you didn't give a retort to ANY of my points in my previous comment, you obviously are someone new to guitar and have no education in music theory, saying that "eddie is better" is just stating your opinion, you clearly have no idea what you're talking about, goodbye.

right... Eddie tapping and doing hammer-on/pull-off combos is better than Paul Gilbert playing sweeps, alternate picking in 16th notes, tapping and using the tremolo bar at the same time, being able to write classical, blues, and jazz pieces, created some of the most advanced rhythm and lead riffs ever made and yet his sad songs still touch my heart, and more that I can't fit in one comment. I don't understand why you think Eddie is better.

Paul doesn't have a place in the top 25 guitar players. He has the 4th place in TOP SHREDDERS OF ALL TIME.

Paul is considered one of the greatest guitarists, seek for a ranking and you will be surprised how many overrated guitar players Paul surpases.
