I got mine when I was in 6th grade, so not sure which is better. I oughta know bass aint difficult too. I've been playing since 2nd grade. Ya I'm judging you, you may be right, but I don't care. Lol, I play piano, saxophone, bass, guitar, a little clarinet, and mountain dulcimer. My main instrument is guitar, and your right, I am under thirteen, and at one of my bands gigs we were told we all play at college level. Also my mother is a music teacher. I never said that's why people use picks. I simply said you suck at bass, and most bassists don't use picks. It's a common know FACT thats true.
