@PhilosopherOnWeed no playing 100000 the same kind of songs is diverse? gilbert may not be as technical but at least doesn't stutter while imrpvosing watch g3 with vai to see him fail aggainst yngwie with.gilbert asked yngwie to doo a song together,yngwie chickend out or something.Vai is solist without a stable band background more like satch,gilbert did everything from solist satch style to melodic mr big to metal.don't call the guy less diverse then vai.i'm done.

@PhilosopherOnWeed yeah zappa is to genius,dud depends on what world you come from.for zappa is zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzappa. i rather listen to deep purple or led zep then some virtuose trying to be that.as for diversity.i listen to any classic rock song from police to mr big to whitesnake to europe to boston eagles,some rave some techno and allot of early metal,flamenco like paco de lucia al di meola list goes on.i'm done with ya.
