Mozart was the one that God chose as his Messenger. He toiled all his life, which was pretty short compare to the average life of human beings even in the 18th century, to deliver that message to us. But in the eyes of his contemporaries Mozart was a complete loser. In the end he had no money even to be buried decently and was thrown without a coffin to the pit with 20 other homeless losers like him. It was a stormy and rainy winter day, when he died. His wife Constanze was sick that day and couldn’t pay her last tribute to her husband, so nobody attended his burial, nobody cried over his dead body, nobody said last “good bye” to him. After they threw his body into that hole, there were only 3 other corpses there. His body had to stay in that open hole for a few more days and wait until it was packed to be covered by earth. Nobody knows the exact place of his grave.Mozart was actually the only one who cried over his untimely death. The last piece he ever wrote was “ Lacrimosa” from his Requiem, that he never finished. He said to his wife that he was writing it for his own funeral. He died that very night. The Latin word “ Lacrimosa” means “Weeping” Full of tears shall be that dayOn which from ashes shall ariseThe guilty man to be judged; Therefore, O God, have mercy on him.Gentle Lord Jesus, grant them eternal rest. Amen.
